Turkish Walnut Baklava
Turkish Walnut Baklava is typically prepared with 40 layers of filo pastry dough and special milk-white walnuts cultivated in the Turkish town of Sebinkarahisar. The walnuts are mixed in between the layers of filo pastry and offer a special unique taste due to their retention of fats when being minced.
Ingredients: granulated sugar, drinking water, wheat flour, plain oil, walnuts, wheat starch, eggs, table salt
Storage: We recommend storing your baklava in the refrigerator for maximum freshness and longevity. Baklava stored in the fridge can last up to 2+ months or longer in an airtight container.
How to enjoy: For the best experience, warm up your baklava in a conventional or toaster oven for 5-7 minutes at a temperature no greater than 300°F.
